Devika Mohanty Das is the founder and president of Raclette International, an etiquette consultancy specializing in social and corporate etiquette, and international protocol.
Ms. Das holds a diploma in International Etiquette and Protocol from one of the oldest finishing schools in the world – Institute Villa Peirrefue in Montreux, Switzerland – which was established in 1954. She is a training license holder and graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, the only such school to be recognized by the United States government. The Protocol School of Washington is also accredited by the “Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training” as the first and only nationally accredited school of its kind. ACCET is officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Further notable achievements include earning a diploma in Marketing, as well as trained Image Consultant certification from Image Lab in Milan, Italy. Ms. Das' portfolio stems from over twenty years of international experience. Of this she has ten years of experience in fashion. Over ten years in business consultancy, training, business development, and one-on-one consultation with international Fortune 1000, senior-level executives in a number of countries throughout the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region including China, where she has been based for the past eight years. Ms. Das speaks in English, Hindi, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia, while currently learning reading and writing in Mandarin Chinese. Her latest publication on culture has been translated into seven languages, and she is currently creating a series of world culture books for children.
She currently lives in Hangzhou with her husband, who is in the European fashion industry, and their two daughters.
